About the Group:
The Claregalway Tidy Towns are a committee made up of elected officers and volunteers, who strive to imrpove the appearance and cleanliness of Claregalway Village. This is done by organising Village Cleanup days, planting of hanging baskets and potted plants, cleanup of signs and working with local businesses and people to keep Claregalway Litter free.
History:
Formed in 2009, the group takes over some of the functions of the Claregalway Amenity Group.
Aims or Objectives:
The group enters the village into the National Tidy Towns Competition. The principal aim is to work on improving the look and tidying Claregalway village.
