Ladies/Gentlemen of Claregalway

The Claregalway Community Development Association is a Voluntary Organisation whose purpose is to improve the quality of life of all residents in the Claregalway area. Our recent projects include
The provision of a defibilrator for Claregalway Community Centre and training in it's use for all Sports Clubs who use the centre
Maintenance of the Nine Arches Historic Bridge
Securing a € 45,000 grant for the development of a River Walk along the Clare River
Organising "Oiche Buiochas" , a Community Night Out where recognition was given to those who went "above and beyond" in there voluntary roles in the community.

We also act as a focal point for any issues Claregalway Residents may have in the development of the area.
We have ongoing plans aswell such as
The establishment of a Tidy Towns Committee
The provision of Playgrounds and other receational facilities in the village
The provision of a Bus Shelter - i.e. we have a lovely bus lane, but only one bus stop and nowhere to shelter from the elements!!!
And of course the By-Pass!!

However this activity requires funds. With this in mind we are organising a Night at the Dogs Fundraiser on Friday 24th April.(See attached Flyer). Tickets are € 20 and this includes Admission to the Greyhound Stadium and Free Race Card.
All ticketholders are also automatically given a chance to win € 1500. Each ticket has a unique combination of numbers, i.e. 6,4,5,2,1,3 - If the greyhounds in the main race finish in that order you win the money. There are also 5 lucky dips of € 100 each.
The Community Development Association is an organisation that benefits everyone. We would ask all Claregalway residents to therefore come along and enjoy a good Claregalway Night out or at least support us by buying a ticket.
