About the Group:

Claregalway & District Gun Club was formed 1968 and is affiliated to the Galway Game Hunting Association (GGHA) and the National Association of Regional Game Councils (NARGC – www.nargc.ie).

 

 

 

History:

Claregalway & District Gun Club was formed 1968 and is affiliated to the Galway Game Hunting Association (GGHA) and the National Association of Regional Game Councils (NARGC – www.nargc.ie).



Aims or Objectives:

The aims of the club are;
a. To promote the conservation of wildlife and its habitat in the area.
b. To develop and improve the game stocks in the area.
c. To carry out such programmes of vermin control as the Club may from time to time determine.
d. To preserve lands for the purpose of prohibiting the taking or killing of game, or the pursuit of game thereon by persons other than those authorised by the Club.
e. To co-operate with landowners.
f. To co-operate with An Garda Siochana.

 

Becoming Involved / Joining:

The Club is currently fully subscribed and is not accepting new members at present.

AGM 2010

The Claregalway & District Gun Club Annual General Meeting takes place this Wednesday 14th July 2010 in the Central Tavern @ 9pm
