The Claregalway Community Development Association (CCDA) has compiled a questionaire and distributed it to canidates in the upcoming General Election. The questionaire can be seen below and brings together the most important questions that the local community want answered- 1. The By Pass- is it included in your own program for Government support. Will you deliver it? 2. Will you deliver proper playing facilities for the National schoolof Claregalway including the provison of a Community Play Ground? 3. Will you deliver proper recreational facilitates for the village catering for all age groups. 4. Will you deliver proper Traffic Management Plan for the Village including proper drop and collection area outside the NationalSchool? Providing predestine Lights and crossing at the school, Centre Laneturn offs into estates. Reducing the speed limits on the smaller roads to 30 mph. extend the speed limit to further up the roads into the village. 5. Will you deliver extend Foot paths, and Walk ways around the Village 6. Will you deliver proper public transport facilities for the Village to Galway , Tuam and Oranmore. 7. Will you ensure proper planning is put in place during the provision of the Sewage Scheme and that the village dose no ground to a halt during Construction. 8 Will you set up proper consultation process with Galway County Council and The community in relation to the future growth of Claregalway? 9. Will you deliver industry to the area and prevent the village becoming a dorm arty town to the city. 10. Will you deliver a secondary school for the Village 11. Will you deliver Sports Facilities for all organizations? |
